Christine Williams Hendrix

SAVANNAH – Christine Williams Hendrix, 91, died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at her home.
A native of Emanuel County, Mrs. Hendrix had lived in Savanah for most of her life and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Lance Hendrix of Savannah, Lavan Hendrix of Savannah and Diane Lewis of Atlanta; a sister, Stellese Owens of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Belinda, Melissa, Zane, Yancey, Sharon, Christopher, and Kelly; seven great-grandchildren, Bridgett, Michael, Michelle, Aden, Zach, Jacob, and Tyler; and one great-great-grandson, Liam.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
